COVID-19 Contact Tracing for Public Transit
Increasing safety, confidence, and ridership by applying proven technologies is among the hallmarks of good transit leadership. This session will discuss why, until now, most COVID-19 contact tracing technologies and approaches in the U.S. have failed. This contact tracing failure is one of the reasons why we’ve struggled more than most countries in keeping case numbers low and people out of hospitals.
Gordon K. Low, founder of Safe2Gather and a retired Deloitte Consulting principal, will demonstrate a cost-effective solution to increase real and perceived safety during the COVID-19 crisis, starting with public transit. Background information can be found at safe2gather.org.
