The class delves into effective policies and procedures, including making sure your practices match your policies. We cover practical tips for recruiting good employees and strategies for retaining our best employees over the long run. The course covers hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews. This workshop will teach you how to turn the dreaded performance review into a positive experience with beneficial effects for both you and your employees. We will cover dealing with difficult employees, best practices for handling workplace conflict, and when needed, steps to legal termination that will keep you out of court. There will be ample time for questions and answers. The workshop will feature hands-on, scenario-based exercises, 1:1, small, and large group discussions. It will be engaging and interactive. By the end of the two days, you will have gotten ideas not only from the instructor, but from every other participant in the class.
