TTA’s Maintenance Training
October 7-9, 2024, VIA in San Antonio
We are excited to announce that the Texas Transit Association (TTA) will provide our second maintenance training installment from October 7 to 9 which will be hosted at VIA’s facility in San Antonio. There will be two training sessions, one will focus on heavy duty and the other will focus on paratransit systems. These classes will offer valuable insights and hands-on experience tailored to the needs of maintenance professionals.
Heavy Duty Training
Date/Time: October 7-8, 2024, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; October 9, 2024, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Course Topics:
- ThermoKing
- Maintain and troubleshoot ThermoKing HVAC systems with a focus on operation, diagnostics, and repair
- Vapor Doors
- Repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vapor door systems
- Gerflor Floor Repair
- Hands-on training focused on the repair and maintenance of Gerfloor systems
- Principals of Maintenance
- Reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance

- Rooftop Air Conditioning (A/C)
- Introduction and troubleshooting of A/C systems
- Gerfloor Floor Repair
- Hands-on training focused on the repair and maintenance of Gerfloor systems
- Common Vehicle Defects and Failures
- General vehicle orientation discussing most frequent issues and electrical faults
- LPG Training by Roush
- Specialized training on LPG systems
